Responsibilities
- Transport import and export cargo between ports, customs yards, warehouses, and client sites
- Ensure full compliance with customs, port authority, and traffic regulations
- Secure and inspect cargo, containers, and trailer connections before and during transit
- Verify shipping and customs documents and report any discrepancies immediately
- Coordinate closely with dispatch and operations teams on delivery schedules and status
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
Job Requirements
- Valid Professional Driver’s License (PDL) with restriction up to #8
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in customs freight forwarding or logistics
- Familiarity with port, airport, and customs yard operations
- Knowledge of basic customs and shipping documents
