**About the Role**The Transportation Manager, US/Mexico will be reporting to the Sr Director, Transportation & Logistics.This position is based in Leon, Mexico.The person in this role will be responsible for creating and managing strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods cross border, focusing on transportation efficiencies, risk reductions and cost savings.This person will optimize transportation routes, identify opportunities for consolidation, direct vs transload, transit time reductions, and minimize costs associated with cross-border processes.The person in this role will be assessing and mitigating risks associated with cross-border warehousing operations, transportation delays, customs issues, regulatory changes, and security concerns.Ensure compliance with customs regulations, country laws and other regulatory requirements, working closely with customs brokers, regulatory agencies, transportation partners and internal/external stakeholders.The Trans...
