Transportation Account Manager Canada/U.S.

Drive growth as a Transportation Account Manager at a leading transportation firm. This role blends office and fieldwork to build new client relationships and expand revenue across Canada and the U.S.
In this in-office and on-the-road position, you will report directly to the CEO. Your primary responsibility involves generating new business via various methods such as cold calling, networking, and prospect visits. Focus on developing FTL and LTL opportunities in the transportation sector to ensure consistent growth and maintain long-lasting relationships with shippers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate new business through cold calling and networking
• Conduct face-to-face sales calls with prospective customers
• Canvass industrial areas and business parks for leads
• Prepare competitive quotes and respond to RFQs/RFPs
• Maintain a detailed CRM for tracking activities
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in transportation sales
