TRANSPORT PLANNER

A staff member to assist our Traffic Controller in managing daily transport operations.

• Customer Coordination - Liaise with freight forwarders (our customers) to confirm transport job details, timelines, and special handling instructions.
• Fleet & Driver Management - Support the Traffic Controller in overseeing the fleet and driver assignments. Ensure drivers are briefed, scheduled efficiently, and equipped for each job.
• Job Assignment & Dispatching - Arrange and assign transport jobs to drivers based on delivery schedules, vehicle availability, and customer requirements.
• Operational Support - Monitor job progress, respond to on-the-ground issues, and coordinate with warehouse or customs teams as needed.
• Documentation & Updates - Assist in maintaining transport records, updating job sheets, and ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and customer expectations.
