Transaction Management Ops Consultant

Job Description

Working as a team leader, this position is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the team run smoothly, resulting in timely and accurate settlement of financial products for Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. The team lead reports to the department manager and ensures controls, regulations and procedures are followed. The role supports BANA & MLC Treasury specifically in Cash settlement, funding, and FX, with close interaction with Trading, Sales, and other Operational support groups.

Responsibilities

• Providing transaction support for Treasury to reduce risk and timing delays on Cash payments and FX.


• Providing settlement support for BA's, Time Deposits and Collateral trades, ensuring timely bank breaks and investigations.
