Trainer- Cum- Counsellor (Burmese Speaking)

Responsibilities:

• Counsel primarily Myanmar Migrant Domestic Workers to understand the role of the job with the goal of the workers to be able to complete the tasks and objectives of the work, and educate on the stress and coping mechanism related to working as a Migrant Domestic Worker
• Interview or speak to, translate (where necessary), provide a listening ear, and understand the needs and challenges of the Myanmar Migrant Domestic Worker
• Help Migrant Domestic Workers to overcome and manage different mental, emotional, and job related challenges
• Coordinate and work with the managing agents of the boarding house to ensure that Migrant Domestic Workers living at the boarding house have the necessary basic needs provided
• Provide basic training including stress coping mechanisms for Myanmar Foreign Domestic Workers and
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
