An Opportunity for a Trainee Emergency Nurse Practitioner, within the Emergency department.
Through Bristol University to undertake the APICA course, you will be based in ED, spending time in local Minor Injury Units and the Walk-in Centre.

The course is a 6 month course,1 day study per week which you would be expected to travel to Bristol and some online. The course is made up of face to face study, coursework, a decision making presentation and OSCE.
You will be allocated one main mentor and a buddy mentor, you will work alongside them and learn- note writing, hx taking and clinical skills such as more complex wound closure/suturing, manipulations, digital nerve blocks, X-ray interpretation and systemic reviews and examinations for minor illness.
