We're Hiring: Trade Operations Specialist (Containerised)
A global commodity trading company is expanding its Trade Operations team in Singapore — and we're looking for someone who's spent the last few years deep in LCs, shipping docs, and warehouse reconciliations, and actually enjoys it.
This isn't a back-office box-checking role. You'll be the person keeping physical trades moving — from the moment a contract is signed to the moment payment lands — while juggling banks, warehouses, freight forwarders, and an overseas trading desk.
A typical week might involve:
- Reading a contract closely enough to catch what needs to happen next — port declarations, insurance, documentation
- Drafting an LC and going back and forth with a bank until it's airtight
- Chasing down a late payment before it becomes a real problem
- Reconciling warehouse stock and billings so the numbers actually match
