Trade Support Analyst (with capital markets exp) (Burnaby)

Overview

Client’s application support is responsible for the production systems, including Trading, Post‑Trade, and PnL software, setting management, and software deployment. The role works closely with developers, business analysts, infrastructure team members, portfolio managers, and traders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the release process, ensuring quality software is delivered in a timely manner.
• Solve technical trading‑related issues independently or with teammates; escalating to subject matter experts when appropriate and managing communications to trading staff and stakeholders regarding issue resolution.
• Build working relationships with trading groups in the US and UK.
• Disseminate trading infrastructure/platform status communications to trading staff regarding platform issues, exchange updates, and related matters.
• Assist with automating processes to achieve efficiency and streamlined trade support.
