Trade Operations Specialist (Dry Bulk)

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor physical bulk commodity trades from contract to final settlement.
• Review and administer sales and purchase contracts to ensure contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with traders, customers, suppliers, shipowners, brokers, agents, terminals and surveyors throughout the shipment process.
• Prepare and manage shipping and trade documentation, including Bills of Lading, invoices, certificates and Letter of Credit documents.
• Monitor vessel schedules, cargo movements and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Liaise with finance on invoicing, trade finance documentation and payment collections.
• Support laytime, demurrage and claims management where applicable.
• Maintain accurate trade records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
