Trade Compliance Analyst (Cosío)

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate operational activities to guarantee compliance with Mexican and international customs trade law framework.
• Ensure the integrity of Trade Compliance processes.
• Maintain a strong understanding of customs regulations related to import/export processes and communicate relevant changes to the plant.
• Monitor obligations to maintain certifications such as VAT, OEA, and CTPAT.
• Ensure temporary inventory complies with all Mexican Customs regulations.
• Keep open balance within threshold by following standard GTM process on a monthly basis.
• Ensure legal status of fixed assets in the plant or other locations.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders for any activity related to trade compliance, including proper use of trade agreements.
