Tooling Engineer II (Mexicali)

Responsible for overseeing the tooling process.

• Low level knowledge in Design and CNC Programming to complete tasks of new tools and repair low‑complexity items.
• Adapt to continuous improvement as part of daily performance.
• Participate in projects and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate tasks in the assigned SBU, focusing on priorities such as administrative controls and low‑complexity designs and CNC programming.
• Follow up SAP Work Orders, control TMSs, and provide feedback to clients regarding tooling discrepancies.
• Support and suggest corrective actions to solve external quality problems.
• Apply knowledge in sheet‑metal tool design and 2.5‑axis and 3‑axis NC programming on the Catia platform.
• Interpret drawings, implement corrective actions, and use MS Office applications.
