Job Summary
Support the implementation of a tooling asset management system and process.
Partner with Global Business Units, engineering, sourcing, and PG&A to efficiently use Polaris assets and maximize the value of tool life.
Support the business process for tooling asset management across all GBUs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the overall Business Process Owner for Tool Asset Management for a highly matrixed organization with multiple functional swim lanes.
Daily interaction with assigned suppliers to collect tool condition reports for upload into asset management system.
Ensure compliance to data inputs and integrity with external suppliers (75%) and Polaris manufacturing plants (25%).
Actively support budget, forecast and spending of sourced component refurbishment and capacity tooling needs for assigned suppliers.
Provide suppliers with refurbishment and maintenance reminders at required intervals.
