Coordinate the activities of the area, ensuring trained personnel, sufficient and high-quality spare parts, in order to maintain the dies in optimal condition, produce quality products, and achieve acceptable performance.
**My Role**:- Review of downtime in the department to develop action plans- Audit the Tool Room Operating System to ensure the effectiveness of activities and system follow-up- Provide support to Line and Bench Technicians to prevent line stoppages or customer complaints- Develop improvement plans for the tools with the highest impact on scrap and downtime- Develop competencies for area leaders (leadership, project development, design, etc.)- Training for newly hired technicians- Support as a technical advisor for complex problems in the area- Follow-up on the manufacturing of spare parts in the Toolshop area to meet the production requirements of the Tool Room- Improve tools to reduce costs due to damage or consumption- Develop RPS projects for adjustments and...
