Saskatchewan Health Authority – Saskatoon and University Saskatchewan, Department of Surgery, Division of Thoracic Surgery is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for a one year locum term. Collective responsibilities include clinical care of inpatients and outpatients as well as education of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. The successful candidate will have appointments in both Saskatchewan Health Authority and the University of Saskatchewan, where teaching of surgical residents and medical students is integral. Participation in the thoracic surgery call roster is required.
The candidate will have demonstrated expertise in Thoracic Surgery. The candidate will have an active interest in research, demonstrated by completion of a post-graduate degree and interest in further developing the research activities of the division and the department.
