The Research Assistant will work as an integral part of a team out of Georgetown, ON that is committed to developing high yielding, disease resistant canola varieties. Within this position you will gain training and experience in controlled greenhouse projects with the possibility of participating in field activities that that will help you to develop valuable insights with different aspects of plant breeding and the seed business. A successful candidate should be a fast learner with a high aptitude for precision and accuracy. These positions will run 4-8 months in duration.
