Position Summary

Temporary full‑time (1.0 FTE) Junior/ Senior High Mathematics Teacher at Matthew Halton High School, Pincher Creek, Alberta.

Contract commences on August 25, 2026 and ends on June 29, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach Alberta curriculum in junior and senior high mathematics.
• Develop and implement outcome‑based assessments and multiple forms of assessment such as portfolios and projects.

Qualifications

• Appropriate educational training and experience teaching the Alberta curricula.
• Strong understanding of outcomes‑based assessment practices.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team.
