Position Summary
The Finance Assistant ensures the efficient and accurate preparation and processing of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), individualized funding claims, banking and monthly procedures according to generally accepted accounting principles and practices. All employees are responsible for promoting and implementing Ongwanada’s mission, vision, values, and service principles, and for fulfilling responsibilities in accordance with all applicable legislation, policies, and procedures.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- Prepare customer invoices and process accounts receivable transactions
- Process deposits, electronic fund transfers (EFT), cash, and credit card payments
- Monitor account balances and complete collection activities
