Position Overview

St. Andrew's School, High Prairie, Alberta is hiring a Full‑time, 1.0 FTE, Temporary Elementary Generalist Teacher for the 2026‑2027 School Year.

Scheduled to begin August 27 2026 and continue until June 29 2027. The homeroom assignment will be based on school needs and the candidate’s skill set.

Role Expectations and Qualifications

• Knowledge of inclusive education, First Nations, Métis, and Inuit student contexts, English as a second language, and programming.
• Ability to support students requiring individualized programs, enrichment, modifications, and accommodations.
• Willingness to live in a rural community environment.
• Team player with strong collaboration, communication, and collegial skills.
