Job Description
The Telecom Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems and network equipment. This role ensures all communication lines, cabling, and related hardware function efficiently to support uninterrupted service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain telecom systems, equipment, and network devices
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of voice, data, and signal transmission issues
- Conduct testing and analysis using telecom tools such as OTDR, power meters, and network analyzers
- Handle fiber optic and copper cabling installation, splicing, and termination
