The Technology Planning and Cooperation Department promotes strategic innovation across all of Huawei Canada. Working with fellow experts, the focus is researching new and upcoming areas of technology as well as strategic planning to help achieve the long‑term vision of Huawei.

Build and maintain the institute’s external technology network across universities, research labs, enterprise research groups, open‑source communities, startups, and industry organizations. Identify key professors, researchers, architects, engineers, founders, open‑source maintainers, and product leaders.

Build expert profiles, institution maps, technology landscape maps, and collaboration pipelines. Help the institute enter higher‑quality technology circles and research communities.
