Technologist – Civil
Position: Permanent, Location: Bay D’Espoir Plant.
General Duties
- Inspects, troubleshoots and recommends repairs and modifications for all civil works associated with hydro plants, dams, dykes, support buildings and hydraulic structures.
- Performs fluid flow measurements and prepares technical reports for civil inspections and major repairs.
- Reviews preventative maintenance standards, repair histories and costs and recommends necessary actions.
- Prepares maintenance‑related designs and sketches.
- Responsible for personal safety, co‑workers safety, and environmental stewardship in accordance with the Corporation's Safety and Health Program.
