Position Summary

Temporary Full-Time Appendix D Support Staff, replacement contract position (July 6, 2026 – August 6, 2027). The Technologist, Medical Laboratory Sciences, is an essential resource involved in all laboratory activities, from tracking and ordering supplies to preparing and cleaning up labs. Where applicable, the incumbent is responsible for demonstrating, supervising, testing, and evaluating students' practical lab skills in life sciences programs. The Technologist assists in preparing students with the required skills that must be demonstrated within the laboratory environment before applying the practical skills in an industrial setting. This position will involve key operator training on several pieces of medical equipment and may involve international travel.
