Technicien(ne) de service sur chantier (Équipements miniers souterrains) / Field Service Technician

SMS Equipment continues to grow its Underground operations and is seeking an Underground Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Underground Technical Specialist. Fluency in French is required for this role.

Position: Field Service Technician (Underground mining equipment) / Heavy Duty Mechanic

Schedule: 14‑14 (subject to change).

Responsibilities

• Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
• Move tools, equipment and other materials.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• Applicable experience as a Field Technician, Mechanic, Machinist or Millwright.
