SMS Equipment continues to grow its Underground operations and is seeking an Underground Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Underground Technical Specialist. Fluency in French is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various vehicles and equipment.
• Report any malfunctions to supervisor.
• Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
• Move tools, equipment and other materials.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul.
