Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly and seeks an Engineering and Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. The role involves overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. The Technician serves as a technical resource supporting the team and must ensure that critical data‑center equipment maintains better than 99.999% uptime.

Responsibilities

The Technician is the first line of response for any electrical or mechanical issues that could affect Amazon's availability. Responsibilities include:

• Maintain generators, transformers, electrical distribution gear, UPS systems, automatic transfer switches, pumps, ventilation and air‑conditioning units (AHU, CRAH, CRAC), building automation systems, and other critical equipment.
