About the role
Reporting to the Supervisor, End User Computing, the Desktop Support Technician is responsible for the day‑to‑day delivery of site support services, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for computer hardware, software, and associated peripherals in a mining and industrial environment. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a self‑motivated and collaborative approach, customer focus, and the ability to deliver training, guidance, and technical assistance in a fast‑paced, operational setting. The position works a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off.
