Responsibilities
- Carry out planned electrical mechanical maintenance on all items of crane equipment keeping to the high standards as laid down by the company for both safety and reliability.
- Ensure maximum operational availability of equipment by conducting periodic diagnostic work and repairs.
- Undertake work in a safe manner in compliance with safety regulations and procedures as defined by DP World.
- Keep supervisors and other technicians informed of progress and problems to ensure smooth flow of communication.
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities and all equipment to create a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct fault diagnosis on the equipment and ascertain the cause of defects and repair methods and spare part requirements.
- Select the correct spare parts and obtain technical information from manufacturers’ parts and technical manuals.
