Technician 3, Facilities Technician

Job Summary

Primary Function: Responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of assigned utilities mechanical and electrical equipment. The role includes escalation of potential mechanical and electrical trouble to Engineer or Manager.

Competency Level

Educational Background: Graduate of 2 or 3 years technical or vocational course preferably related to Mechanical or Electrical technologies.

• Must have at least 4–5 years of work experience in an electronics or semiconductor industry specifically on Facilities Operation function.
• Must be certified on the equipment operation by OEM or other certifying body.
• Have excellent mechanical and electrical utilities knowledge.
• Can operate the mechanical and electrical utilities equipment.
• Excellent knowledge in computer systems.
• Excellent knowledge in mechanical and/or electrical diagnostics tools.
