This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electromechanical issues, performing major troubleshooting and overhauling of land-based equipment, and preparing and assembling sub-assembly components. The Technical Support Specialist, Mechanical also supports capability building by training junior mechanics and technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve team performance and equipment reliability.
What you’ll do
- Perform hydraulic and mechanical repairs, as well as preventive maintenance of land-based equipment (LBE)
- Troubleshoot issues involving diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmission systems
- Determine and prepare the necessary parts, tools, and materials required for repairs
