Technical Procurement Manager is to manage the organization’s sourcing of products and services, to align technical formulation requirements with technical purchasing, by ensuring that raw materials and packaging purchased are cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
Technical Procurement Manager bridges technical, chemical expertise with strategic raw materials sourcing, material selection, alternative raw material and raw material innovation.
They are responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing raw materials to ensure production quality, consistency and cost efficiency. They act as a link between Quality Control, Production, Research & Development and Suppliers. The Technical Procurement Manager will be responsible for indirect procurement to support business operations.
