Technical Operation Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily vessel operations to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted vessel service.
• Ensure vessels are properly maintained through planned maintenance, repairs, dry docking and machinery overhauls.
• Ensure vessels comply with Class, Flag State, ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL and other statutory requirements.
• Attend vessel inspections, surveys and audits, ensuring all findings are closed out promptly.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate repairs with internal departments, vendors, and shipyards.
• Manage technical purchases, spare parts, consumables and related documentation.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, insurance claim documents, and operational reports.
• Prepare, monitor technical budgets, repair costs and operational expenses.
