As the Technical Leader you will provide new product and ongoing engineering (including DFM/DFA/DFC/DFFS) for a specific product or group of products from pre-concept commit through EOL. For new products, you will collaborate with design (hardware and mechanical), process, test, and reliability engineering to address problems and ensure cost avoidance and quality at FCS. For sustaining products, you will focus on cost reduction and design related yield improvements.
- He /she reviews, provides input for the design & architecture from DFM, Component technology used, EOL etc and influences the design team for optimum selection.
- During NPI’s they should provide all technical support required for Proto builds and ensures cost, Quality and delivery targets are met.
- During sustenance, need to handle change management activities & also need to work towards meeting factory and field Quality metrics.
