Technical Engineer (OEM Integrations & Fleet API)

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support Cartrack’s OEM integrations and Fleet API. This is a technical investigator role rather than a traditional support position. The ideal candidate enjoys understanding how systems work, analyzing data, identifying root causes, and helping others understand technical problems.

In this role you will spend significant time investigating problems across multiple systems: reviewing data, reproducing issues, understanding API behaviour, and determining root causes before escalating to engineering. You should be comfortable moving between customer conversations, SQL queries, API documentation, JSON payloads, technical documentation, and OEM manufacturer platforms during the same day.
