The Technical Coordinator is responsible for:
Technical & Production Oversight
- Hiring part‑time staff for events as necessary, in consultation with Production Manager;
- Assisting with large prop assembly and prop pre‑sets as needed in studio & spacing rehearsals in each venue for each production;
- All sets, backdrops, flies, dance floor and supporting hardware;
- Procurement of any relevant materials for the job that are necessary with approval from the General Manager and in partnership with the Production Manager;
- Working with the Stage Manager, Wardrobe Supervisor and Lighting Coordinator to maintain, transport and store all sets, props and other production elements;
- Tracking and planning for repairs, cleaning and replacements needed for set, props, truck strap equipment and misc. items (crates, dance floor, etc.). The Stage Manager will inform the Technical Coordinator of any necessary prop repairs; ...
