Technical Buyer - BESS & PV Solar Projects

Successful candidate with Procurement, Supply chain and Technical Buying experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum requirements for the role are as follows:

• Proven experience as a Technical Buyer within the electrical, construction, solar PV, renewable energy, or EPC environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials and equipment, including but not limited to:
  • LV and MV cables
  • Cable accessories and terminations
  • Earthing materials
  • DBs, switchgear, MCCs, inverters and transformers
  • Conduits, sleeves and cable management systems
  • Solar plant specific materials such as trackers, module mounting systems, DC string materials, combiner boxes and fibre optic materials
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, RFQs, comparative adjudications, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, delivery follow-up and expediting.
