Purpose of the Technical Author role – To create and maintain a package of user manuals for my clients business applications

The Technical Author works with stakeholders from all business units and third parties to gain an understanding of their information needs and deliver solutions to aid users in understanding my clients business applications. The Technical Author is responsible for maintaining a rich information resource for users of the business’ applications, ensuring that users have information to self‑implement new features and self‑train in existing features. The Technical Author will participate in stand up meetings to keep up to date with system changes.
