About the job

The position is part of the Group Legal team and works closely with IT, Security, People and our parent company Telefónica. The role is based in Madrid, Spain. The focus of this role is the operational implementation of data protection topics and the coordination of selected compliance activities across the Group.

• Take responsibility for the operational implementation of data protection requirements across the BE-terna Group and act as the main interface to the external Data Protection Officer (DPO)
• Develop and maintain key data protection processes (e.g. DPIAs, data breach management, records of processing activities)
• Advise management and business units on data protection requirements and risks
• Support audits and ensure the implementation of resulting measures
• Coordinate selected compliance topics and contribute to the development of a group-wide compliance framework
