Silver Fern Farms Waitane is the company’s southern most ovine processing site. With 220 staff at peak season, the site processes lamb, sheep and bobby calves sourced from around Southland and Otago. Located just a few minutes south of Gore, Silver Fern Farms Waitane is an integral employer in the area.
