The role encompasses overseeing the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including Windows and Linux domain environments. Responsibilities include ensuring the optimal functioning of backup systems, managing virtual environments using VMware ESXi and vCenter, administering Linux servers, and overseeing the integration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 and cloud services via AWS and Azure, ensuring system efficiency, security, and seamless IT operations across the organization. The position also involves mentoring and coaching junior team members, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance.
