Duties and Responsibilities
- Mark essays and/or assignments.
- Avail at the end of term to mark papers within a constrained turn‑around time.
- Serve as a course coordinator and lab demonstrator for the full‑credit course appointment (total of 300 hours).
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and managing data.
- Provide constructive feedback to students.
- Present material and conduct seminars remotely or in‑person, as required.
- Maintain communication with the instructor, fellow teaching assistants, and enrolled students via email, audio‑video conferencing, or in‑person meetings.
Compensation
- Undergraduate rate: $23.30 per hour (effective September 1, 2026).
- Graduate rate: $36.67 per hour (effective September 1, 2026).
