About the role
Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Northampton. This full‑time role starts June 2026 and runs until March 2027. The successful candidate will support classroom learning and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery
- Work with small groups to reinforce learning
- Assist pupils in staying focused and completing tasks
- Help prepare classroom resources and displays
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Pre‑requisites
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Positive and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references within the last two years from a related field
