Teaching Assistant Level 2

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students at The Pingle Academy.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with staff and students, building strong relationships and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Assist with literacy, numeracy, and science lessons, supporting teaching and learning across the curriculum.
• Apply current best practice and behavior management strategies to support children’s learning and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Holding an NVQ for Teaching Assistants or demonstrating equivalent skills and experience.

32.5 hours per week, 39 working weeks per year. Although advertised as full time we welcome part‑time applicants. The salary will be pro‑rated to those hours.
