Teaching Assistant – GEMS Education – Dubai, UAE

What You’ll Do

• Support teachers in delivering classroom activities and reading-related tasks.
• Lead small group activities under teacher guidance, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Supervise classes or small groups of students in emergencies when required.
• Prepare and tidy classroom resources, mount student work displays, and assist with creating teaching materials.
• Manage photocopying, worksheet preparation, and other administrative tasks to support teaching staff.
• Ensure classroom and stock areas are organized, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Assist students with personal care, such as taking them to the toilet and helping with cleaning when necessary.
• Become familiar with key curriculum areas, such as literacy, numeracy, and phonics, to support learning effectively.
