Teacher Assistant (Misión San Jerónimo)

The purpose of a Preschool Teacher Assistant is to support the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, helping them develop crucial social, emotional, and academic skills for kindergarten readiness. Assistants work directly with children, providing individual and small-group attention, managing daily routines, assisting with basic needs, and reinforcing lessons to foster intellectual and social growth and ensure every child's well‑being.

• Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Providing one‑on‑one support to children who need help grasping new concepts or a helping hand when they are having a difficult day.
• Working closely with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans, share observations about children's progress and needs, prepare instructional materials and resources, and contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere.
