The opportunity
As a Tax Services Payroll Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners
- Consult with clients on their employment tax, payroll compliance, and process queries
- Support a team of junior resources in preparing outsourced payroll files, including detailed review of client‑facing deliverables and providing coaching to junior staff on continuous improvement to file preparation and documentation
- Take ownership of documentation, analyze engagement economics, draft final billing for Partner review, and deliver meaningful individual performance evaluations on a timely basis
