GENERAL SUMMARYWe are looking for a regional leader to perform and supervise tax compliance for the 4 BRP's Mexican entities in Juarez and Queretaro.The leader's mandate is to ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and prepare group reporting for consolidation purposes.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Ensure the timely recovery of VAT favorable balances,- Review and approve monthly federal and state tax calculations and payments,- Review and approve annual tax return,- Review transfer pricing studies performed by external advisors,- Coordinate Mexico compliance requirements (VAT/IEPS certification, REPSE, complementos de pago, carta porte, etc.)- Coordination of audits and tax projects,- Ensuring key controls and risk management processes are detailed and implemented, minimizing risk and exposure to penalties.
