Tax Manager (EMEA & APJ)

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of international GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory tax provisions, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and reporting as a public company.
• Oversee and manage external consultants for timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, R&D credit studies, foreign tax returns, Pillar 2, and transfer pricing compliance.
• Coordinate and manage compliance audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Support various tax projects such as acquisitions, restructurings, tax planning, and legal entity assessment.
• Actively monitor and analyze global tax legislation and its impact on Elastic.
• Research international tax technical issues, primarily corporate tax but also other taxes as required.
• Mentor and train direct reports and colleagues within and outside the Tax team to foster growth and collaboration.
