We seek an experienced individual to manage our deck department while ensuring the vessel’s safe and economical operation. The role includes communicating responsibilities to the Deck Crew and ensuring compliance with all legislative rules. Your background in safety management and previous tanker experience will be vital for success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the safe operation of the vessel and crew
• Communicate clear expectations and responsibilities to Deck Crew
• Ensure adherence to safety and legislative regulations
• Prepare logbooks, daily records, and maintenance documentation
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

Requirements:
• Master Near Coastal Certificate from Transport Canada
