TA FT Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular external grounds inspections and maintenance on the casino property, including parking lots and the Parkade (e.g., sweeping and pressure washing, picking up and emptying garbage containers, cleaning ashtrays, washing windows & doors, etc.)
• Maintain landscaping by cutting grass, removing weeds, watering flowers, removing snow/ice, sanding, salting, etc.
• Inspect irrigation system to ensure all sprinkler heads are operational.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of internal/external fixtures, furnishings, and equipment.
• Conduct regular winter external grounds inspections and maintenance (i.e., clear snow from the casino/Parkade entrances/exits, including fire exits, sidewalks, curbs; prevent slips and falls by scraping snow/chipping ice off the walkways and applying salt, sand, and de‑icer; remove snow from canopies, shelter roofs; and ensuring that anti‑slip mats have been installed in t...
